Come Out Of The Trenches

This is your time!

Have you found yourself saying, "This was supposed to be my year!" Maybe you have felt that 2020 has destroyed your dreams. Well, I want to encourage you that His promises haven't gone away. Your dreams are still dreams that came from the heart of God. No matter how tough things get, God promises to work all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. That's us. We love Him. He has a great purpose for you and I. Like Psalm says, the refining fire of tough times detox us of impurities and things that aren't meant to journey with us to the next chapter of our lives. It's in this adversity that we come out as gold. And if we come OUT as gold, we must have gone IN as something pretty special, too! (-:

In the atmosphere of God, nothing is wasted. Nothing surprises Him.

Remember a time when you were happy or something happened and made you feel like you could conquer the world? It was easy to believe God, then. It was easy to feel like everything is gonna be ok. The bible tells us that He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow; that His promises remain the same. He healed the sick, over 2,000 years ago and He heals the sick today. He calmed the storm many times before, He will surely calm the storm today. And even if things don't turn out exactly how I had envisioned or planned for them to,

The promises of God are not dependent on anything but His faithfulness.

This is your time! The stars don't need to align and we don't even have to feel qualified in order for God's promises to come to pass in our lives. That's incredible news! It's time to press a hard reset on our thoughts and believe once again, "This is my time."

It's time to come out of the trenches and start praying those mountaintop prayers.

You know, those prayers that declare something as God has called it, not as though we see it. The kind of prayers that speak the promises of God and remind Him how good He is, rather than how bad our year has been. Stop fighting a devil that has been defeated and start dancing on his neck. That's what happens when we praise and lift up the name of Jesus, He causes us to dance, stand, hold or however you want to take hold of the neck of our enemy. I'm not talking flesh and blood enemy, I'm talking about the Ephesians chapter 6, warring against the spiritual enemy. Begin to declare His faithfulness over your finances, His faithfulness over your children, His faithfulness over your health, His faithfulness over every single area and watch as the enemy starts to look smaller and smaller as you rise above the trenches and fight from a place of victory.

This is your time! Where are you declaring a hard reset today?
