Unrush Yourself

I keep hearing these words Unrush yourself

The Lord spoke to my heart and if it resonates with you, let His words do what only they can do.

This is what the Lord says…

There is this unwritten pressure.

One that says you must understand every word, every outcome, every detail….yesterday.

You must have an explanation for Me, how I move, even why I told you to make THAT move.

You don’t.

You must instantly know My voice and understand the why.

From word one.

Move one.

You don’t.

That just isn’t a thing.

It’s not possible.

To know Me in My fullness is to experience Me.

In the daily and in the study of My word.

In the time conversing with Me.

That’s when you know Me.

You will. You do.

Even when you know Me, others will not.

They are not meant to understand all that I speak to your heart.

They won’t.

Unrush yourself.

I’ll get you to it.

You know everything you need to know for right now.

But don’t stay here.

Pray, lean into My word, declare My word, follow hard after Me, learn My voice.

You will.

Know this, you may not fully recognize My voice yet but you can know what is NOT my voice.

Unrush yourself.

My word is My voice. It’s Me. It’s My character, My attributes and My transforming power is there.

Through trusting Me and thru My faithfulness, you are learning.

But know this that regardless of how much you feel you don’t know or do know…I will never love you any less, any more and you will never be any closer or any further away from the full measure of My love.

Every day, you know Me more.

Every day, you are being conformed into My likeness.

Every day is a set up for for your greatest.

Every day is equipped with mercies new and a fresh dose of My strength. My Presence.

Every day includes a way out of the enemy’s grasp.

The enemy’s temptations.

The enemy has declared “check mate” but I am not playing.

This is not a game.

You are not a spoil of war.

You are Mine.

The best strategies, fake outs and ploys don’t win today nor any day, for that matter.

There is power in the blood that was shed for you. Shed for every one. Power to cover every sin that put you in the position you are in.

Power to cover and break ties your ancestors made with the enemy.

Power to obliterate every curse and plan plotted against you.

Darkness is but a shade.

A shade that is non existent when I show up. In you. Always.

Everywhere you are is light.

Make no mistake.

This is war. This is a battle, not of flesh and blood.

Take your stand!

Do it all. Pray, read, lean in to All that I am.

Don’t walk with heaviness.

Roll that all off, onto me.

Intensity of battle, strategy, fear, anxiety, wondering what’s ahead…all of it.

Roll it onto me and only take what I give you.

Through it all, leave room for My Peace to settle you.

Unrush yourself.

And in the unrushing, the swirling of the day to day and the battles all around…get your praise on! Yes, learn to dance. Learn to lift your voice. Whether word, song, shout, send the glory toward heaven.

I don’t mean take lessons.

I mean open your heart to let your praise pour out. I’ll teach you.

Even as with Jehoshaphat, the praises went ahead of the army and there was a deafening and annihilating blow to the enemy.

The battles are won when the praise is lifted.

I’m not playing games.

But I am the God of Exceeding Joy and I’m bringing great joy to you.
